I graduated from Howard University in 2021 with a bachelors degree in Computer Science. I am a software engineer at Google, implementing new features for the Google Maps website, Before coming to Google fulltime, I interned at a small consulting company in Atlanta, interned at Google twice,and participated in Google’s Tech Exchange program. I’m super excited to be back in Washington DC teaching at my alma mater this fall. I love dedicating my time to improving education in my community, and learning more about education policy both at the K-12 level and higher learning level. In my free time I like to go to run, play golf, and watch anime here and there :)

Danae Dunlap
Hello, my name is Danae Dunlap and I am a junior computer science major from Las Vegas, Nevada. During my time at Howard, I have had the honor of participating in the Google Tech Exchange Program, joining several STEM related extracurriculars, and successfully completing two summers at Amazon as a software engineer. When I graduate, I hope to become a software developer for a non-profit organization or NGO dedicated to helping those in need. I’m exciting to get to know you all throughout the semester and the rest of our time as Bison!

My name is Morayo Adeyemi, a computer science major and mathematics minor from the Chicago area. During my freshman year, I interned as a STEP Software Engineer at Google, where I developed a validating backend database for Google Ads clients. In my sophomore year, I conducted research at Stanford University, focusing on computer vision and machine learning for wearable technology. I also participated in Google’s Tech Exchange in spring 2024. I currently serve as your Vice President of the CEA Student Council and conduct research in Howard’s Natural Language Processing lab. I’m also a TA for CSCI 470, so feel free to ask me about theory or cool CS algorithms. I was the Director of BisonBytes, Howard’s first CS hackathon, and I really recommend you try out hackathons! They are a great way to learn and apply really fast! My big goal is to pursue a PhD in computer vision and graphics, so I’m also happy to help with any research or graduate school-related questions!

Hi, I’m Anjali. I graduated from University of California, Irvine and I currently live in San Francisco. I work as a Software Engineer at Google on the Routing Infrastructure and Analytics team where I help manage Google’s internal and external network. I’m excited to work with you all this semester!
C.J. Gunn
C.J. Gunn is a Customer Engineer in the Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail vertical at Google Cloud. That means he works with many of the stores you shop at and the companies that make a lot of hte products in your home. He’s been at Google for 4+ years and he specializes in data and analytics. C.J.’s first job out of college was in Cincinnati, OH with Procter & Gamble. C.J. worked and lived there for 10 years before moving to Atlanta as a consultant. Prior to coming to Google C.J. worked at a 3-person startup building data warehousing and reporting solutions for major retailers.
C.J. is originally from Louisana and is a proud graduate of Howard University’s Computer Science program (H-U. You Know!!). He is the father of 2 boys and he’s been married to his wife for over 17 years. In his free time, C.J. enjoys travelling, playing golf personal finance, and video games.

Hi, I’m Ibra originally from Albania living in Sunnyvale, CA. I’m a Site Reliability Engineer at Google. Together wth my team we work on making sure that most of Google’s sharing and identity services such as Profiles, Notifications, etc. run smoothly. I’m excited to be working with everyone at Howard this semester and look forward to help you throughout the course!

Hi, I’m Kevin, graduated from University of Maryland, and I’m located in Mountain View, CA as a Software Engineer at Google. I work on the Play Doc Infra team, working on ingestion and serving data for Apps reviews and user generated content. I’m glad to be here to help with the course, and look forward to this semester.
